The World Beer Cup® is the largest professional brewing competition on earth — a triennial event run by the Brewers Association that draws thousands of entries from breweries across roughly 60 countries. The American-Style Pilsener category is one of the most-entered, most-competitive flights on the program.
Gold means O.G. Pils was judged the best example of the style in 2023. The grain bill — 2-row and 6-row barley with flaked maize, four weeks of cold conditioning — is the classic Pre-Prohibition American Pilsener formula Philadelphia brewers worked with for a century.
